This strategic partnership marks an important milestone in Ailesh’s mission to build the #WeAccelerate ecosystem in the field of biodiversity and ecosystem services with real time monitoring, while also supporting the initiation of carbon project development in Indonesia.
The collaboration focuses on developing advanced systems for carbon monitoring and ecosystem management. These systems are designed to track land use changes, measure conservation and revegetation growth, and provide real time data on land area, plant counts, and carbon sequestration estimates. By integrating AI technology with satellite data, the platform delivers accurate insights into forest growth and carbon stock estimation, helping industries and stakeholders implement more sustainable practices.
Furthermore, the new system will transform conventional methods of carbon calculation, which have long relied on manual measurements and allometric formulas. By enabling accurate estimations of tree height, diameter, canopy width, and conservation area size, this innovation creates a more efficient and transparent approach to sustainable ecosystem management. The use of digital tools ensures reliable data for decision making in sustainability in Indonesia and beyond.
